We’re all about slow fashion here. That means once you place your order, we make your piece just for you — no stock sitting on shelves. Because of that, shipping usually takes 1–5 business days. If you’re out in a more remote spot, it might take up to 5–10 business days. Thanks for your patience — quality and care are worth the wait.

If you’d like to exchange an item, just email us at shop@phelan.co.za within 14 days of delivery and send the shoes back in their original condition and packaging within that time.

Please note sale items can’t be returned or refunded.

Once we receive your return, we’ll carefully inspect it and process your refund. Credit card refunds usually take 5–10 business days to show on your statement.

Returns after 14 days or damaged items aren’t eligible for a refund.

Plain Leather:

• Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth.
• Keep them out of direct heat and sunlight.
• Avoid rough or scratchy surfaces.
• Use a clear, natural shoe polish now and then to keep them fresh.

Metallic Leather:

• Clean softly with a damp cloth.
• Steer clear of anything abrasive.

General Tips:

• Please avoid chemicals or solvents—they’re not friends of your shoes.

It’s because leather is a natural material — each hide is different, with its own character and texture. When dyed, these natural variations show through, giving your shoes that one-of-a-kind look you just can’t get with synthetic materials. It’s part of what makes genuine leather so special and beautifully unique.
