You know she'd love a pair. You don't know her size, or which colour she'd choose. So let her choose.
She picks the style, the colour and her size. Most pairs are made after she orders, by hand, in our factory in Somerset West, so the pair she gets is made for her.
The voucher comes by email, to you or straight to her, on the day you choose. We courier her pair anywhere in South Africa.
How the voucher works
Choose an amount and pay. The voucher arrives by email, with a code.
To send it straight to her, tick I want to send this as a gift and fill in her email address. You can add a message and choose the day it arrives. Leave the box unticked and the voucher comes to you, to print or pass on.
She chooses her pair on phelan.co.za and types the code in at checkout. If the pair costs less than the voucher, the rest stays on it for next time. If it costs more, she pays the difference.
Most Phelan pairs are made after they're ordered, so hers may take a few weeks. The page for each pair says whether it's ready to ship or made for her.
Delivery and collection
The voucher comes by email, so there is nothing to deliver and nothing to pay for delivery.
When she orders her pair, we courier it anywhere in South Africa, R120 a parcel and free on orders over R1,000. Once the pair leaves the factory, allow one to five working days, a little longer to outlying areas.
If she is near Somerset West she can choose Come and fetch them at checkout and collect her pair from the factory shop at 51 Lourens Street, any time the shop is open. It's free, and the coffee at Wild Peach is good.

The factory shop is across the courtyard from the house, with the Wild Peach coffee shop inside it. The full range is there, including pairs that never make it online. Sit with a coffee, try on whatever you like, and ask to see where it was made. If you've ordered online and you're nearby, come and fetch your pair instead of having it couriered. People tell us it's the best part.
